AVS Free Pet Health Check 2023
Mar 9, 2023
Free Pet Health Check
by Animal & Veterinary Services (AVS)
14-16 April | Friday to Sunday | 11 am - 7.15 pm
Enjoy a basic free pet health check offered by the Animal & Veterinary Service, a cluster under the National Parks Board at Pet Expo. A veterinarian will be on-site to provide a physical health consult for your pet and give the advice to help you better manage your pet’s health. Additionally, eligible pets will be offered complimentary microchipping service.
Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQ)
Q: How long will the pet health check take?
A: Each consultation takes about 15 minutes.
Q: What if all the slots have been taken up?
A: Online registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You may still come down to check with us on walk-in availability at the registration counter on the day of the event.
Q: Can I walk in instead of registering?
A: It is advisable to sign-up with us via online registration. You can still try walking in at the registration counter, and we will slot you in if there are vacancies. However, we are unable to guarantee as priorities will be given to pre-registered pet owners.
Q: How would I know if my registration is successful?
A: You will receive an email confirmation from us at hello@petexposg.com.
Q: What if I'm not the registered owner of the pet?
A: It is alright if someone other than the owner is bringing the pet for the health check, so long as the person (e.g. relatives/domestic helpers) knows the pet’s history. You would also need to provide the owner’s NRIC/FIN number and authorization letter for verification purposes.
Q: What if I want to bring more than one pet?
A: Unfortunately, due to limited slots available, the vets can only examine one pet per owner.
Q: Will there be any surgeries or procedures done?
A: Only free microchipping services will be provided.
Q: Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
A: Drop us an enquiry at hello@petexposg.com should you have any questions!
