Dr Francis Cabana is a distinguished expert in the field of animal nutrition and a key figure in the success of PetCubes, Singapore’s leading provider of fresh pet food. With an extensive background in academia and practical experience in the care and welfare of animals, Dr Cabana has played a vital role in the growth and development of PetCubes.

In addition to his role at PetCubes, Dr Cabana serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic, where he shares his knowledge on animal nutrition in the context of rehabilitation and wellness courses. With his dedication to education, he consistently receives exceptional student evaluations. Previously, Dr Cabana held the position of Assistant Director of Animal Care at Wildlife Reserves Singapore and during his tenure, he implemented sustainable practices, conducted scientific research, and developed strategies to enhance staff development and animal welfare. His contributions have made a significant impact on the well-being of the wildlife under his care.

Dr Cabana has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Plymouth and the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, where he taught postgraduate courses on topics including wildlife nutrition, animal welfare, and applied animal behaviour. Prior to joining PetCubes and Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Dr Cabana conducted nutrition research at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park in the UK. His collaborative efforts resulted in improvements in animal welfare, including a significant reduction in dental disease and an increase in behavioural diversity. Dr Francis Cabana’s expertise and dedication to animal nutrition and welfare have positioned him as a respected authority in the field.
