Remember our polls on which food to avoid for cats? Here are the answers!
❌Grapes can cause digestive issues such as diarrhoea and vomiting 🍇
✅ Bananas are high in potassium which is a healthy treat, but they should make up no more than 10% of your cat’s daily diet 🍌

❌Onions and garlic may cause damage to a cat's red blood cells and lead to anemia when eaten in large quantities 🧅
✅Cooked eggs are excellent sources of protein, B vitamins and amino acids 🍳

While some of these foods may only cause your cat slight discomfort, others can be far more hazardous to their health. If in doubt, do ask your vet for guidance.

Arthritis is the medical term for inflammation of the joints which older dogs have a higher risk of being more susceptive to.
For prevention of arthritis, Dr Sara from @rehabvet_sg recommends these few ways:
1. Weight management
2. Good quality joint supplements
3. Daily moderate low impact exercise

The abnormal formation of the hip socket, also known as Hip Dysplasia, in its more severe form can cause painful arthritis of the joints. For Luxating Patella, a condition in which the kneecap dislocates or moves out of its normal location, also causes pain to your pets.
Some common signs of pain include: - Hiding in a corner
- Sleeping more
- Unable to finish their food/need to be hand-fed

Early detection is the key, remember to visit your vet for periodic checkups!
